Pactroom puts the contract, the client’s review, the delivery and the payment of a video job in one link. It is on a waitlist, and this page follows how pactroom.com describes it.

A school of yellow fish in a cutaway of the sea, built from blocks: many people, one link.

How a job goes

  1. One link to share

You create a Pactroom for the job and get a single link. You send the client that link instead of separate files, contracts and invoices.

  2. The client joins

The client opens the link in a browser, enters an email address and gets a one-time code. No password, no account, no app to install.

  3. Everything in one place

The brief, the contract (signed right there), the video review with notes on the exact frame, the chat and the payment milestones share one space.

  4. Deposit and unlock

The client pays a deposit up front, through Stripe. You upload watermarked previews for review; when the client pays the balance, the clean files unlock.

What it costs

Pactroom needs no subscription: it charges a fee on each transaction, and the fee gets smaller as the deal gets larger. The fee schedule is in its Terms of Service (opens in a new tab), which also list optional subscription plans and extra storage.

Who makes it

RitSea makes Pactroom. It has its own site, terms and privacy notice.
